Services Provided to the Nevada Community

The Community PBS projects that the Nevada PBIS Technical Assistance Center has been involved with have focused primarily in the areas of facility-wide PBIS (FWPBIS), parole, and now in the area of the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. The work that has been done in the area of Community PBS began in 2015, when the Center was contact by the state's only maximum-security juvenile facility to implement PBIS in that facility. Since then, the center has worked consistently with Youth Parole, a mental health facility, and will be starting caregiver education in the area of the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.
