Prints, Patterns and Place: Relief Printmaking with Mary Kenny, July 15-19
Bring your curiosity and creativity to Lake Tahoe and get your hands dirty in a relief printmaking workshop. Enjoy hands-on printmaking techniques while exploring nature and community with light walks and conversation. All participants will be working with non-toxic materials to create unique printmaking pieces. Everyone will leave with finished prints on paper and fabric and a better understanding of printmaking. This workshop is for beginners and experienced makers looking to find and expand their visual language.
About the artist
Mary Kenny is an artist/educator living in Chico, CA. She received an MFA in Printmaking from Kent State University in Ohio and a B.A. in Studio Arts from Baldwin-Wallace University. She has taught courses for twenty-plus years in printmaking, painting, design, and color theory at universities, museums, and art centers. Her work is in several collections and exhibits both nationally and internationally. She is currently a lecturer at Chico State.
Cost: $750 + $50 Material Fee
