Summary
My interest in water studies started during my undergrad at UNLV, where I worked as a Geochemistry Research Technician for a planetary soils lab. While Mars research was fascinating, I was soon introduced to the terrestrial applications of aqueous geochemistry after helping a friend collect spring samples for his thesis. While it’s possible I was perhaps a little biased towards water science after experiencing his scenic field sites in the Grand Canyon, I soon found myself pursuing terrestrial-based hydrologic investigations for my career. This direction continues today in my work as a Hydrologist. Recently, I’ve returned to school to further round my academic background and support my growth as a researcher. When not preoccupied with the professional matters, I can be found entertaining my creative endeavors (painting, music), frolicking around Tahoe, or sitting next to my cat and playing video games.
