Summary

I am from Ontario, Canada and completed my BSc. in Geology at the University of Kansas. I worked in the mining industry as an exploration geologist and hydrogeologist before returning to school for my master's degree in environmental science from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, B.C. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Hydrogeology working with Dr. Steve Bacon at the Desert Research Institute. My research focuses on implementing geomorphology, structural geology and hydrogeology to understand groundwater flow in large, tectonically active basins. In my spare time I like to ride my bike around and look at rocks.
