Snowy landscape with pine trees and a stream.

I received a master’s degree in literature and worked as an editor and technical writer before changing course to study hydrology. I joined Dr. Rina Schumer at the Desert Research Institute and Dr. Sudeep Chandra with the Aquatic Ecosystems Laboratory to study changing ice phenology in mountain lakes and the resulting effects on lake physics. When I’m not digging holes on a frozen lake, I enjoy playing guitar (poorly) and board games.
