In 2017, I completed my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Fresno. Following that, I worked in an ocean engineering group with the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center in Port Hueneme, CA. I am now enrolled in the Hydrology M.S. program working with Dr. Scott Allen. My research focuses on better understanding water storage in tree canopies. I am analyzing precipitation data from the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) from several sites of varying climates around the U.S. to quantify canopy water storage on a per-storm basis to investigate how water storage may be related to forest structure. When not working, I enjoy hiking, dancing and kayaking.
