Summary
Matthew Little (they/them) is a second-year graduate student whose focus is primarily on queer and feminist theories within the realm of leadership and education. After receiving their undergraduate degree in 2017 from the University of Nevada, Reno in Women’s Studies, they decided to continue their research at the institution in the spring of 2020. Their graduate research allows them to apply queer and feminist theories into practice through the Bonner Leadership Program on campus, which is a nationally accredited service-based program that provides marginalized students “access to education” through the “opportunity to serve” their community. They are deeply inspired by stories and wish to uplift and empower those who are not represented in the mainstream realm. In their spare time, they enjoy baking, cooking, singing and video games.
