Dana Ahern is a postdoctoral teaching fellow in Queer/Trans Studies. Ahern’s research lies at the intersection of trans and queer studies, critical race and ethnic studies, and feminist science and technology studies. His research explores the emergence and consolidation of transgender medicine within a history of U.S. racial science and imperial warfare. In addition to this work, Ahern is also interested in queer and trans pedagogies, digital organizing and histories of queer and trans lives in Eastern Europe.
