Christina McSherry

Summary

Christina is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and she completed her B.A. at Franklin and Marshall College with a major in classical archaeology and ancient history. Christina completed her M.S. at the University of Georgia in anthropology specializing in archaeological resource management. Her current research focuses on expanding the field of historical conflict archaeology to consider sites of non-physical conflict. She has additional research interests focused on military sites and weapons analysis, applying linguistic anthropology to war memorials, using geophysical and other non-invasive methods at archaeological sites and using Indigenous/decolonized and community driven practices in archaeology. She also has experience in classical archaeology focusing on Etruscan religious sites and practice.
