Summary

Erica Westhoff earned her Ph.D. in Italian from the University of California, Los Angeles. She specializes in early modern comic theatre, the relationship between political patronage and cultural production, theories of comedy and theatre, Italian film, and translation. She teaches Core Humanities 201 and 202 as well as Italian language and culture in the World Languages and Literatures Department. Westhoff is the advisor for the Italian studies minor.
