Get support as a student

The University of Nevada, Reno is a public university and is governed by the same laws as any government body. Therefore, all members of our community are protected under the First Amendment. Having this freedom is important to our daily lives, but it also has the potential to offend and hurt other individuals.

Our University is unable to restrict these liberties, but we do offer services for students who have experienced discomfort from specific situations of open exchange and ideas.
