TransLoc information
On-demand ride service
Pack Rides nightly service hours are Monday-Friday 5-10 p.m.
Retail shopping shuttle (fall and spring semesters only)
We offer a continuous shuttle on weekends during fall and spring semesters that picks up from campus and takes you to the WinCo and Walmart shopping centers. Please see below for our hours of operation and shuttle stops.

Download the TransLoc App
1. Download TransLoc from the right app store for you.
2. Select “University of Nevada Reno – Pack Rides.” You can also view PackTransit routes by toggling on “University of Nevada, Reno."
Using TransLoc
- Select the “OnDemand” tab at the bottom of your screen
- Select the active service card by swiping left or right. There are separate cards for our weekday and weekend service
- Select your pick-up location
- Select your drop-off location
- Select total number of passengers
- Select toggles if you need ADA or bicycle accommodations
- Confirm both your pick-up and drop-off
- Book
- Sign in with NetID
- Upon first use, you will be prompted to create a TransLoc account. Please fill in the required fields.
- Your ride details will be on the screen
Canceling your ride
- Select “Options” at the top left corner of your screen
- Select “Cancel Ride Request”
- Confirm cancelation
