Governor proclaims 'State Employee Week'

Week of May 6-12 to commemorate hard work of state workers

Gov. Brian Sandoval has proclaimed May 6-12 "Nevada State Employee Recognition Week," the Office of the Governor announced this week.

In the official proclamation, Sandoval notes that "Nevada's state employees make a significant contribution to the well-being of life for all citizens of our state." He adds that the week is in gratitude for the "professionalism, dedication, hard work and sacrifice" that the state's employees show throughout the year.
