Summary
Sheena R. Harvey, Ph.D., is Director of Fitness and Recreational Sports at the University of Nevada, Reno and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Sociology and Cultural Analysis. Her teaching and scholarship examine race, gender, identity, equity and belonging in higher education, with particular attention to the experiences of Black women and students from historically underserved communities. Her work also explores the intersections of sport, physical activity, recreation and student development.
