Undergraduate student Lucia Del Rosario Zuniga de Alba awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

We are excited to announce that Lucia Del Rosario Zuniga de Alba, has been awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship.

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is a competitive fellowship that recognizes merit and supports awardees in study/intern abroad experiences. This cycle, the Gilman Program received a record number 7,700+ applications, with only 1,550 students selected nationwide.

Lucia is a dual major, studying international business and French. She will be studying abroad in France at the University De Pau Et Des Pays De L'adour through the University Study Abroad Consortium (USAC) during the 2026 Fall Semester.

As part of her application process, Lucia participated in the Gilman Scholarship Workshop offered by the Office of Undergraduate Fellowships.
