Undergraduate student Tanya Nawrocki honored as 2023 Henry Albert Public Service awardee

Tanya Nawrocki, administrative assistant for the Department of Gender, Race & Identity (GRI) and an upcoming B.A. graduate in GRI and English, as well as incoming Master's student at the University, has been awarded the 2023 Henry Albert Public Service Prize (established 1924 and awarded through the UNR Foundation Endowment) for her “excellent submission packet, GPA, exemplary character and outstanding service to others.”

The language of the award letter stated, “the committee was impressed with your application and feels that you hold a bright future ahead. Everyone looks forward to seeing the impact you continue to make in whatever community you’re a part of.”

Additionally, Ms. Nawrocki has been awarded an an Exemplar Award in the College of Liberal Arts for her accomplishments as an undergraduate student.
