Chemical & Engineering Assistant Professor Maryam Raeeszadeh-Sarmazdeh and research student Elham Taheri's work on tissue inhibitors of matrix metalloproteinases, which could improve brain cancer treatments, has been highlighted in the March 5, 2025 issue of "Inside Precision Medicine." Sarmazdeh and Taheri published their research findings in the February issue of the academic journal Oncotarget.
