What got you interested in engineering?

I originally got interested in engineering after joining the engineering program at my high school. Then I took some math and physics classes, which I also really enjoyed. Leading me to see how cool engineering really is.

What impact do you hope to have through your engineering career?

I hope to create a more sustainable and environmentally conscious practice in whatever specific industry I decide to pursue.

What does the CREATE program mean to you?

The CREATE program is a key that helps unlock new opportunities, make great friendships, and motivates me to be involved in the engineering events on campus.

In what ways has your peer mentor helped you?

My peer mentor has been great at answering any questions I have. Having a person there that has been in the same situation as you, except slightly older, really keeps the advice grounded, and high quality.

What advice would you give someone looking to follow in your footsteps?

I would recommend surrounding yourself with people that have similar goals to yourself. It's a lot easier to stay focused and inspired when all your friends are on the same path as you. This could be done by joining clubs, talking to your classmates, or going to review sessions.
