Enjoy an elegant dinner featuring deliciously local food at the Desert Farming Initiative’s second annual Farm to Fork Dinner event Saturday, Sept. 23 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Farm to Fork Dinner will feature local food, prepared by Liberty Food & Wine, including Bentley Ranch beef, Holley Family Farms lamb, Snyder Family Farms raspberries and onions and vegetables from the University of Nevada, Reno’s farms.

The University of Nevada, Reno’s Desert Farming Initiative has partnered with Western Nevada College Specialty Crop Institute to host the outdoor event, sponsored by Renner Equipment Company, with proceeds going to support student internships at the farm, and building future leaders in the industry. The dinner will be held at the Desert Farming Initiative headquarters at the Nevada Agricultural Experiment Station’s Valley Road Station Field Lab at 920 Valley Rd, Reno.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with Nevada’s agriculture community of growers, supporters, partners, and students. If interested in attending, you may purchase tickets at www.highdesertfarming.org.
