The University of Nevada, Reno will again celebrate five cultural graduate celebrations honoring the cultures graduates brought with them and shared during their time on campus. Organized through The Center, Every Student. Every Story., these celebrations offer students and their families an intimate ceremony where they can recognize this important milestone.
This will be the seventh year the University has offered these celebrations, which complement the traditional commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 18, 19 and 20, 2017.
More than 200 students participated in these celebrations last year with an average of 186 people attending each of the five events.
"The primary role of The Center, Every Student. Every Story. is to assist students in reaching their goal of graduation," Blane Harding, director of The Center, Every Student. Every Story, said. "We are privileged to host celebrations that bring students, family, friends and faculty together to honor their achievements and thank them for the rich contributions they have given to the campus and our community."
