University Police Services partners with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office to gather donations for "Christmas on the Corridor." Police Services and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office is gathering new items to benefit families in the downtown Reno corridor who need help in providing Christmas for their families. A donation barrel is located in the Police Services lobby on the first floor of the Fitzgerald Student Services Building.

"We've been fortunate to receive support from the Reno community many times over the years, and we're happy to participate in giving back when and where we can," Chief of University Police Services Adam Garcia said. "The holiday season is a good time to share resources with those who may be struggling at this time of year."
