President Marc Johnson will deliver the annual "State of the University" address on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. in the Joe Crowley Student Union's Milt Glick Ballroom.

Johnson will highlight the achievements of the past year while also sharing the University's priorities for the 2014-2015 academic year and beyond. He is expected to address the campus' record-setting growth, and what it will mean for the institution's faculty, staff and students as well as for the region and the state.

Already, the University is experiencing a number of record-setting milestones. On Sept. 9, it was announced that the University had reached a record enrollment of 19,934 students. In addition, it was announced that for the fifth consecutive year, the University has been named among the nation's "top tier" of universities by U.S. News & World Report. When fall semester classes began on Aug. 25, the University welcomed more than 300 Presidential and National Merit/National Achievement Scholars - also a high-water mark for the state's 140-year-old land-grant institution.
