Effort includes increased range of three miles from campus for service

In an effort to better serve the campus community, ASUN Campus Escort has made the following improvements, it was announced this week:

Service range increased from two miles to three miles: Campus Escort can now travel up to three miles from the campus perimeter. That means many more students, faculty and staff who live between two and three miles away may utilize the service.

Monday-Thursday nightly campus shuttle, 6-11 p.m.:  Campus Escort has partnered with Parking and Transportation Services to provide a fixed-route shuttle service from 6-11 p.m. On those nights, anyone traveling between the following locations can simply catch the shuttle without having to place a request for a ride.

Shuttle Stops:  Downunder Café; Joe Crowley Student Union; Lombardi Recreation Center; The Highlands apartments; Sierra Hall.

Saturday Retail Shopping Shuttle, 12 p.m.-4 p.m.: Campus Escort also provides a shuttle from the Downunder Café to the shopping centers at Mae Anne & McCarran, which include restaurants, grocery stores, clothing and many other shops. Please be aware that, outside of this shuttle service, Campus Escort still does not pick up or drop off at commercial establishments.

A few reminders about the service:

As part of the partnership with Parking & Transportation Services, the shuttle vehicle looks like the ones used on the daytime east campus shuttle route;

Nightly requests for rides accepted 7 p.m.-1 a.m., seven days a week (In addition, as stated above, fixed-route shuttle runs 6-11 p.m., Monday through Thursday);

Visit for current hours and policies, shuttle info, or to request a ride during our service hours;

Call (775) 742-6808 during service hours to speak with a dispatcher.
