Summary
Abby White began to write as a child in Shaker Heights, OH, and never managed to put down her pen. Her debut novel, D.J. Rosenblum Becomes the G.O.A.T. (Levine Querido), won the 2026 Sydney Taylor Book Award for young adult literature. It also earned praise from ALA Booklist, Kirkus Reviews and the Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books. Her sophomore young adult novel is forthcoming. (She promises.)
In a previous life, Abby wrote speeches, op-eds, essays, and even a memoir for political leaders, nonprofit executives, and Fortune 500 businesspeople. Her ghostwritten pieces have been featured in the Washington Post and USA Today, broadcast from the United States to South Korea, and reached millions. Today, Abby is proud to tutor public high school students when she’s not reading, singing, baking or cooking. She lives in Washington, DC, with an extraordinary community of friends.
