University Alert - Protecting You
It is vitally important that you are kept safe while you are at the University and that you're immediately informed of any emergencies on campus. Therefore, Police Services has implemented a multi-layered emergency notification system that includes a program called University Alert. University Alert is a program on your computer that displays emergency announcements from Police Services.
University Alert is mandatory and must be installed on every University-owned computer. Exception requests for specialized research equipment can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Installing University Alert
The University Alert program is automatically installed on all centrally managed Windows computers on the campus network. The program must be manually installed on all Macintosh and laptop computers.
