Hi everyone! I’m Bri and I’m an Academic Advisor in The College of Business. I grew up in Henderson, NV, where I lived until attending the University of Nevada, Reno, for my BS in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology (Go Pack!). During my time on campus, I was involved in the Panhellenic Council, St. Jude Up til’ Dawn as well as sorority life.
After graduation, I moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and started my career in technical recruiting. I worked closely with students from the University of Nevada, Northern Arizona University and Arizona State helping them navigate their post-graduate careers. While working with undergraduate students I helped them find internships and helped them prepare them for the workforce. By doing this it helped me realize my passion for working with students. Now as an Advisor for The College of Business advising team, I look forward to supporting students pursue their academic goals.
My biggest tip for anyone in college is to get involved. There are countless clubs, organizations and jobs that will fit your interests! So, make the most of your time spent at the University and find your pack!
