The University of Nevada, Reno, in partnership with Extended Studies, is proud to offer nine incredible study programs. Courses focus on international business, management, entrepreneurship, leadership and humanities through a combination of online instruction, lectures, tours and more! All programs have limited space. Prices are based on Nevada residency, are per person and do not include airfare.

Cape Town, South Africa

Trip date: January 4-10, 2026
Cost: $3,595

Explore Cape Town's dynamic business environment through visits to the University of Cape Town’s Business School, interactions with local entrepreneurs, and guest lectures from prominent business leaders. The course also dives into Cape Town's unique cultural and economic landscape, including the wine industry, mining sector, and other areas where Nevada and Cape Town share common interests, all enriched by a mix of educational workshops and cultural excursions.
Fees include tuition, books, lodging, some meals, local transportation and class activities.

New York, New York

Trip date: March 22-28, 2026

Management science and humanities come together through exploration of museums, plays, films, galleries, readings and lectures. Design thinking concepts are discussed, challenged and deconstructed.
Fees include class credits, accommodations, course materials and five class meals

South Korea

Trip date: May 16-23, 2026
3 credits - BUS 400 (undergrad), BADM 791 or BADM 729 (graduate)
Spend seven days in Seoul and Busan, exploring Korean culture and learning about historically significant locations. In Busan, we will visit Hyundai Ulsan Plant, the world's largest automobile plant, as well as Haeundae Beach, Gwangali Beach, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, and Jagalchi Market. In Seoul, we will visit Seoul Sky, Insadong, Myeongdong, Gwangjang Market, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Microsoft Seoul. Additionally, we will tour the Korean Demilitarized Zone on the border of South Korea and North Korea.
Fees include class credit, accommodations, local transportation, tours and at least one meal per day.

Tokyo, Japan

Trip date: May 23-30, 2026

Experience Japan’s unique balance of tradition and cutting-edge innovation. Business visits are planned with Sony, Toyota, and other leading manufacturers, along with exposure to startups and international firms with Nevada ties. Students will also engage in lectures and discussions about Japan’s economic role in the Asia-Pacific region.
Cultural highlights include Shibuya Crossing, the Asakusa district, the Meiji Shrine, and an excursion to Mount Fuji.
Fees include class credit, shared accommodations, local transportation, selected tours, course materials, breakfast, and a concluding class dinner.

Management course, focusing on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and challenges and opportunities of doing business in Canada.

London, England

Both groups will spend the first week visiting local businesses, understanding the new environment in a post-Brexit world. Students will examine British culture and its relationship to the business climate.
Undergraduates will participate in a 3 credit class for the remaining 3 weeks, providing a required or elective course in most degrees.
Fees include class credits, accommodations (single and ensuite), local transportation for course-related work, select tours, course materials, a special class event, meals in the dormitory and a concluding dinner.

Warsaw, Poland

Explore Poland’s rich and fascinating culture and history through lectures and guided tours with us. Students will acquire valuable entrepreneurship knowledge and practical experience, focusing also on the political economy and business climate of Central and Eastern Europe. In this program we offer exclusive visits to leading business development institutions like Warsaw Stock Exchange, Cambridge Innovation Center or Google Campus and state agencies including National Center for Research & Development and Polish Agency for Investment & Trade in the mornings combined with many historical and cultural guided tours in the afternoons.
Fees include class credits, 3 hours of academic sessions, course materials, breakfasts and lunches, welcome and farewell dinners, select cultural visits and guided tours, accommodation at SGH Warsaw School of Economics (our partner university) dormitory (double occupancy rooms), transportation from and to the airport

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Learn about business innovation, finance and entrepreneurship through the context of business visits in banking, manufacturing and retail business sectors. Argentine business leaders and American leaders working overseas will be the focal points of contact for students in the program.

Sydney, Australia

Trip date: July 26– August 1, 2026

Explore Sydney’s dynamic business environment through a review of the family winery industry and a visit with the management team at Fairfield RSL to understand Australia’s gaming and hospitality sector. Students will also meet with local companies and guest lecturers to learn about entrepreneurship and trade in the South Pacific.
Cultural excursions will include the Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, and the Featherdale Wildlife Center.
Fees include class credit, shared accommodations, local transportation, selected tours, course materials, breakfast, and a special class dinner.

Singapore

Learn about Asia-Pacific trade in the context of one of the most diverse and culturally rich countries in the world. Several business visits with companies with Nevada ties are planned.
