The University of Nevada, Reno, in partnership with Extended Studies, is proud to offer five incredible study programs. Courses focus on International Business, Management, Leadership and Humanities through a combination of online instruction, lectures, tours and more! Singapore, Australia, Toronto, New York and London are your potential destinations!

Singapore:Nevada Global Business at the United Nations

  • Online Instruction: December 18, 2017 - January 4, 2018
  • Visit Singapore: January 4, 2018 - January 13, 2018
  • Cost: $2,995
  • 3 credits - BUS 400 (undergrad), BADM 791 (graduate)
  • Learn about Asia-Pacific trade in the context of one of the most diverse and culturally rich countries in the world. Several business visits with companies with Nevada ties are planned.
  • Fees include class credit, shared accommodations, local transportation, select tours, course materials, breakfast, and special class dinner.

Sydney Opera House

  • Online Instruction: January 24, 2018 - March 5, 2018
  • Visit Australia: Friday March 16 - Sunday March 25, 2018
  • Cost: $3,195
  • 3 credits - BUS 400 (undergrad), BADM 791 (graduate)
  • Learn about business innovation and entrepreneurship through the context of business visits in eco tourism, biomedical research, Australia's wine industry and several small group conversations with Australian CEOs. This class is part of a consortium with several other universities including Ohio State, Michigan, and Iowa. 
  • Fees include class credit, shared accommodations near the beach, local transportation, class field trips, cultural workshop in Blue Mountains National Park, and breakfast every morning.

  • Visit Toronto: June 2, 2018 - June 9, 2018
  • Cost: $2,195
  • 3 credits - BUS 400 or BUS 600 (undergraduate or graduate students)
  • Management course, focusing on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and challenges and opportunities of doing business in Canada
  • Fee includes class credits, accommodations, local transportation, selected tours, course materials, special class event and concluding dinner

New York:

Nevada Global Business in New York

  • Online Instruction: May16 - June 8, 2018
  • Visit New York: June 9-16, 2018
  • Cost: $2,395 for double occupancy, $2,995 for single
  • 3 credits - MGT 491 or BADM 729 (undergraduate or graduate students)
  • Management science and humanities come together through exploration of museums, plays, films, galleries, readings and lectures
  • Fee includes class credits, accommodations, course materials and five class meals

 London (Undergrad only):London Streets and double-decker buses

  • Visit London: June 23, 2018 - July 20, 2018
  • Cost: $5,995
  • 6 credits (undergraduate students only)
  • Two well-rounded courses on Global Management, Technology and Economic Policy, in one of the most fascinating cities in the world
  • Classes meet daily from 8:30-10:30am and 10:30am-12:30pm
  • Afternoon devoted to cultural visits, class projects, and field trips
  • Fee includes class credits, accommodations, course materials, and daily breakfast and dinner in the dining commons

  • Learn about trade and commerce in the European Union, while exploring all that London has to offer
  • Fee includes class credits, accommodations, local transportation for course related work, select tours, course materials, special class event and concluding dinner

Nevada Global Business in London

Check out the respective links to find  out more information, including itineraries, costs and accommodations. Don't forget: students are responsible for all flights, local travel not related to course work, passport and/or visa fees, personal sightseeing, incidental expenses, and all meals not covered through program fees. Students may choose to extend their stay at their own expense. 

To enroll in courses, follow these steps:

  • Go to "Finances"
  • Go to "Purchased Items"
  • Select "Extended Studies Depost" for $500
