48: University, Major Unit, and Department Bylaw Policy

The Faculty Senate maintains the official bylaws repository, containing the current copy of approved bylaws for the University of Nevada, Reno (the University) and its major units and departments. Older copies of approved bylaws may be requested from the Faculty Senate Office. Bylaws may be added to the repository by following the bylaw approval procedures below.

The same policies and approval process as bylaws is required for departments that choose to develop written policies and procedures in place of or in addition to bylaws.
