Mark Amodei, congressman for Nevada's second congressional district, visited the University of Nevada, Reno on Feb. 13.

Congressman Amodei spoke with Cadets that will soon be commissioned as Lieutenants in the Active Duty Army and the Nevada National Guard about the profession of arms, service to country, and leadership.

Jasmin Herrera, the Wolf Pack Battalion Cadet Commander and a senior majoring in Psychology said that, "Congressman Amodei's talk served to validate many of the most important leadership lessons that we are taught in the Military Science program.  I am excited for the privilege and the challenge to be an Army officer."

Congressman Amodei is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and the Army ROTC program.  He served in the Active Army as a Judge Advocate General Corps officer after graduating from the University.
