Calling all Wolf Pack members! Are you ready for a weekend of great food, relaxation and adventure in the breathtaking setting of Lake Tahoe? Nevada Dining is excited to partake in Weekends in Tahoe. Take advantage of weekend getaways at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe campus throughout April, where you'll indulge in delicious meals prepared by Nevada Dining’s talented campus executive chef, Joseph LaRue, embark on outdoor adventures and enjoy the beauty of Incline Village.

Tahoe Weekend Getaways: Earth Day Celebration in Tahoe

April 19 and 20 is the Earth Day Celebration Getaway! Spend a weekend celebrating the planet and the beauty of Lake Tahoe with a delicious breakfast and dinner provided by Nevada Dining, activities like a hiking and meditation session, an Earth Day fair, live music, a film screening, a nature walk to the lake, and more. Breakfast and dinner will be served at the Lake Tahoe campus’ dining hall, Social House, located at Patterson Hall! This Earth Day Celebration Getaway includes one night of lodging, meals and transportation to and from the Reno campus to the Lake Tahoe campus.

Winter Excursion Weekends for Students, Faculty and Staff

Escape to the mountains! Winter Excursion Weekends offer a variety of exciting self-led activities for participants to enjoy. Hit the slopes at Diamond Peak for a day of skiing or snowboarding, with exclusive discounts on lift tickets available to Wolf Pack students, faculty and staff. For those seeking a slower pace, explore the tranquil beauty of the Tahoe wilderness with a snowshoeing adventure. Gear rentals are complimentary with your WolfCard, making it easy to explore the local trails at your own pace. Be sure to take some time to explore the charming shops of Incline Village and its surrounding areas!

Prepare for your winter activities with the perfect fuel – breakfast crafted by Chef Joseph. Start your day right with a hearty continental breakfast, giving you the energy you need to conquer the day's adventures. Winter Excursion Weekends include one night of lodging at the Lake Tahoe campus dorms.
