Component overview
Organization Charts are used to display the organization structure of a department or unit in an accessible way.
- Org Charts are designeed for Section Front schemas: Although an Org Chart should not be your main Section Front, org charts look best on wide Section Front schemas.
- Be mindful of depth and complexity: Although our organization structure can be complex, your Org Chart should be readable and useful to visitors. Be aware of how many layers and levels your Org Chart contains and make sure it remains readable.
- Org Charts can have titles and descriptions. These fields are optional but userful for orienting users.
- Org Charts can display profile images: You can use profile components in conjunction with Org Chart List Items to display images of individuals.
- Images must have alt-text: If you are using Profile components in your Org Chart List Items, make sure all images have appropriate alt-text.
