Active learning spaces
At the University, two classrooms are designed specifically to facilitate active and collaborative learning and are located in the Pennington Student Achievement Center: 113 and 114. Both rooms, known as active learning classrooms, feature an open arrangement of round tables with rolling seating for nine students and multiple electronic plug ins for student technology at each table. White boards by each table also serve as projection screens for students who can connect to the projection wirelessly using AirMedia.
