Job Description:  The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking an experienced psychologist who possesses excellent clinical, administrative, and leadership skills to serve as its next Director of Counseling Services. The Director of Counseling Services has comprehensive responsibility for the strategic leadership, vision, and overall administration and operations of counseling and testing services and programs, including training future mental health professionals, in supporting an increasingly diverse undergraduate and graduate student population. The Director is expected to provide effective leadership in all mental health programs and services to support and enhance students' personal and academic success at the University. This leadership focuses in the areas of human resource management, administrative oversight, crisis intervention, program development, assessment, fiscal management and technology. This position serves on a team of Divisional directors and reports to the Associate Vice President for Student Life Services. 
Resident Director
Department: Residential Life, Housing and Food Services

Job Description: Residential Life, Housing and Food Services at the University of Nevada is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic professionals looking for a strong team of supportive colleagues committed to student excellence to join our Resident Director team. The Resident Director of a residential area is responsible for developing a balanced program of social, education, and recreational activities; training and supervising student staff; managing student discipline, developing hall governments; reporting repairs and maintenance needs; and the general administration of the residential area. Additional administrative assignments are made to specific tasks or duties including but not limited to judicial board, license appeals, safety committee, staff training and selection, leadership training, programming committees, and other departmental and university committees. Summer duties may include assisting with summer housing, conferences, room assignments, program planning for the academic year, and/or other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director or Director.

A Resident Director maintains full-time office hours, in addition to responding to emergency/crisis situations 24 hours-a-day and 7 days-a-week. Weekend duty is split among the professional live-in staff and graduate students (when applicable).

Admissions and Records Assistant 2

Coordinator, Support Operations

Job Description: The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for Support Operations Coordinator for the Department of Residential Life and Housing. This position will coordinate applications and housing assignments within Residential Life, Housing and Food Services. Other duties include, but are not limited to: ensuring the housing management system is properly configured to accept applications; coordinating changes to roommate matching questions, Living Learning Community updates, assignment accommodations for students with disabilities, Return Student Housing process, room changes, including addressing students and parent concerns with regards to assignments, roommate requests, and changes prior to move in and working with Residential Life staff on changes after opening, temporary housing, and fee assessments; coordinating the department internal and external communication for application and assignments; conducting presentations at orientation and participating in University recruitment events; participating at department, faculty and staff training sessions and retreats; conducting regular audits and assists with various department operations including communication with department staff; and other duties as assigned.

The Records and Registration Coordinators are responsible for the management of all records and registration processes from admissions through to graduation for a diverse student population.
