Coordinator, Career Education

Job Description: The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Coordinator, Career Education. This position manages the Career Studio's robust peer education program, including a team of 15-20 student mentors who provide thousands of drop-in career consultations to their peers. The incumbent plans and delivers continuous evaluation and training of the peer mentor team to ensure the highest quality of service to diverse students. The incumbent is responsible for tracking and assessing student engagement using the job board/student information database. The position also contributes to career education programming and partnerships inclusive of students with disabilities, student veterans, underrepresented populations, international students, LGBTQIA+ students, nontraditional students, and students who are first in their family to attend college. The incumbent plans and delivers presentations, workshops, events, and longer-term career education programs for students in collaboration with faculty and student groups.
