School of the Arts students are encouraged to submit their original artwork for the biannual School of the Arts sticker campaign! Selected artwork will be featured on 3” circular stickers distributed during the fall 2022 semester.
$200 commission award and 25 complimentary stickers to share!
Must be a current University of Nevada, Reno undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing. Must be majoring or minoring in a department within the School of the Arts (visual arts, theatre and dance, and music). Students graduating in spring 2023 may enter.
Email a high-resolution digital image or photo (.jpg, .png or .pdf file) of new or existing original artwork to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: SOTA Sticker Submission. Email must include your contact information (email and phone), major and minor, school year, and a paragraph description about your artwork. Artwork does not need to be made to sticker specs and will be cropped to fit 3” circular sticker size. Collaborative work is accepted. Limit one entry per person/team per semester. Photographs of theatre, dance, and music performances are also accepted.
Artwork will be reviewed by representatives from each of the School of the Arts departments as well as a special guest juror from the Nevada Museum of Art. Submissions will be reviewed using the following criteria:
- Artistic excellence and composition
- Diversity of discipline and/or media used
- Representation of the student’s experience in the School of the Arts
