Atmospheric Sciences Ph.D. student Celime Garcia (advisor: Dr. Yeongkwon Son) presented his research in the CAFÉ Wenatchee community heat and smoke monitoring workshop. Celime received a 2024 Nevada NASA Space Grant Fellowship to work on the project titled “Factors Impacting AOD and Low-Cost Sensor Data Assimilation Performance."
