Nevada student-athletes achieved the department’s highest Fall semester grade-point average, and the second-straight term hitting the 3.20 mark, posting a combined figure of 3.211 for Fall 2025.
The Wolf Pack stayed above the 3.20 mark after posting a 3.278 in spring 2025, and continued the department’s growth from fall 2024’s 3.157 GPA and the spring 2024 figure of 3.147.
Fourteen Wolf Pack programs posted team GPAs of at least 3.0 for the semester, the most since hitting the same mark in spring 2023. The group was led once again by Women's Golf, which posted a team mark of 3.803. Women’s Tennis followed close behind at 3.704, while Women’s Swimming & Diving (3.636), Women’s Soccer (3.607), Women’s Cross Country (3.594) and Ski (3.588) were also above the 3.5 mark.
“I am extremely proud of the efforts our student‑athletes make in the classroom, as reflected by the continued, semester‑by‑semester growth of our department GPA,” said Nevada Director of Athletics Stephanie Rempe. “Their development off the field is every bit as important as their development on it. [Associate Athletics Director, Student-Athlete Services] Kim Gross and her staff continue to do exceptional work with our student‑athletes, and it shows—14 teams above a 3.0 GPA is an extraordinary achievement.”
Wolf Pack programs to have hit the 3.0 mark in all 10 semesters since the return to in-person learning in spring 2021 are Women's Golf, Women's Soccer, Women's Swimming and Diving, Women's Tennis, Women's Basketball (3.325 in fall 2025), Women's Track & Field (3.446), Softball (3.148), Men's Cross Country (3.204) and Men's Tennis (3.197).
