Proposed timeline

We initiate the planning process for FY2025 in the summer of 2023 in order to ensure enough time to assess projects for proper justification and feasibility in the current environment.

May 17 FY25 Federal Appropriations Kickoff Webinar
June-August Faculty work on ideas and submissions
September 1 Deadline for project request ideas from the faculty. Projects should be submitted through the appropriations request form.
September 15 Communications of projects advancing will be sent out.
October 13 Project templates due
October 24 Federal Lobbying Team meeting with requestors (in person)
January 22 Final applications due
February 1 The Office of Government and Community Engagement will submit FY25 appropriations requests to the Nevada Congressional Delegation.
