The Office of Government and Community Engagement’s mission is at the core of the mission of the University of Nevada, Reno — that is, to serve the people of our region and our state through interactions of impact helping to shape a bright and exciting future for all Nevadans.

Working at the local, state and federal level, Government and Community Engagement helps develop proactive and productive relationships with elected leaders, governmental agencies and the communities they serve. Engagement efforts include local, statewide and federal outreach that informs, promotes and amplifies the University’s successes in learning, discovery, inclusion and engagement while assisting in the University’s understanding of meeting community and statewide goals and interests.
