Dean Leah Chan Grinvald is the Dean of the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. She joined Boyd from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, where she served as associate dean for academic affairs and professor of law. An internationally recognized scholar in intellectual property law, her research
focuses on IP enforcement and its impact on small businesses, with recent work exploring the intersection of intellectual property and the right-to-repair movement.

Dean Grinvald has taught courses in contracts, copyright, trademark law, and international IP. Before entering academia, she clerked for Justice Frank Sullivan, Jr. of the Indiana Supreme Court and practiced law as global corporate counsel at TaylorMade Golf Company and as a corporate associate at Latham & Watkins and Clifford Chance. She holds a J.D. from NYU School of Law and a B.A. from The George Washington University. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and exploring new destinations with her husband and two children.
