We open our season on October 12 with our first foray into the world of early music. Directed by the 2021 Avery Fisher Grant recipient violinist Rachell Ellen Wong and harpsichordist David Belkovski, Twelfth Night is an award-winning early music ensemble for the modern world. They will open Apex Concerts' Twelfth Season with a fascinating program titled "From London to Dresden."

On January 25 we will present a program celebrating (two days ahead of time) Mozart’s 266th birthday. "Mostly Mozart" will be anchored by the monumental Divertimento in E-flat Major, the program will bring to Reno violinist Yura Lee, violist Dimitri Murrath, and clarinetist Boris Allakhverdyan.

On February 22 an evening entitled Flautissimo will feature a captivating look into music for flute, led by the great Demarre McGill, who will be joined by violinist Francisco Fullana, as well as Apex co-Directors Dmitri Atapine and Hyeyeon Park.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the nation's premier chamber music organization, will visit us on March 29 in an alluring program "Delight & Drama" blending charm with passion! Pianists Wu Han and Wu Qian as well as violinist Bella Hristova will guide us through delightful and dramatic music for piano trio and for piano four hands.

The spectacular conclusion of our Twelfth Season comes with a look into the music of the future. The multi-award-winning group Sandbox Percussion will present “Seven Pillars” by Andy Akiho, which has received the 2022 GRAMMY nominations for both “Best Classical Composition” and “Best Chamber Music Performance.”
