6,504: Syllabus Review and Retention Policy

To be compliant with the Northwest Commission for Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) accreditation standard 1.C.3 ( NWCCU-Standards), academic departments must review and retain each course’s syllabus to ensure that it accurately reflects what is published in the most current University of Nevada Course Catalog. Special attention will be paid to each syllabus’ course description, student learning outcomes (SLOs), course prerequisites, and Core Objective Statement (if applicable).

Academic units are responsible for ensuring that all departments within their units fully comply with this policy.
