5,503: OSHA Written Workplace Safety Plan

Revised: March 2021

The OSHA Written Workplace Safety Plan (WWSP) is required by Nevada Revised Statutes 618.383 and Nevada Administrative Code 618.538-618.540. This document describes the organization and management of various UNR safety departments. The WWSP must include:

• Safety inspections (including building, laboratory, and other infrastructure)
• Safety training of employees
• Including specific hazard recognition training
• Accident investigation
• Other safety Rules/Programs, as defined by the regulations
