The Nevada Transgenic Center (NTC) at UNR provides support to Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) facilities and all its associated academic departments, as well as outside entities, for laboratory mouse embryo manipulations, embryonic stem cell manipulations, mouse breeding, and cryopreservation/cryorecovery of mouse strains. This resource strictly adheres to all guidelines set forth by the Institute for Laboratory Animal Research of the National Research Council (2011) in the care and use of laboratory animals.
