Geoff Blewitt invited to give Bowie Lecture at 2026 AGU Fall Meeting

Geoff Blewitt, professor in the Department of Physics and the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology, was invited to present the William Bowie Lecture at the fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union. According to the AGU website, the William Bowie Lecture is presented by invitation only. The invitation signifies major contributions to the fundamental understanding of geophysics by the speaker, as well as a collaborative nature.
