Nevada Athletics is taking over The Village at Rancharrah on Friday, September 4 for a season-opening pep rally.

The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is free to attend. Wolf Pack fans can celebrate the first official Wolf Pack Friday of the 2026 season, meet the owners behind their favorite Village businesses, and enjoy special offers from participating tenants.

Pack The Village will be an awesome opportunity for Nevada's College Town to show its support for the Wolf Pack, hear about the great things coming this season from some special guests, and rally up with our Wolf Pack community partners," said Nevada Director of Athletics Stephanie Rempe. Wolf Pack Football opens its 2026 campaign the day after the pep rally, hosting Western Kentucky Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Mackay Stadium. Wolf Pack Women’s Soccer returns to Mackay Stadium Thursday, Sept. 3, at 6 p.m. against NAU and Wolf Pack Women’s Volleyball hosts Weber State Thursday, Sept. 10, in its home opener at Virginia Street Gym at 6 p.m.

Nevada Athletics is offering a discounted season ticket rate for faculty, staff, and their families for all three ticketed fall sports – football, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball. Using the promotional code FACSTAFF26, faculty and staff can purchase football season tickets for $99 (a discount of 27 percent!) in Section H, enjoying Wolf Pack Football in an exclusive section with University colleagues, and $50 each for women’s soccer and women’s volleyball on the Nevada Athletics ticketing website. 

Pack The Village will also feature remarks from Rempe, Nevada Football head coach Jeff Choate and Par Tolles, CEO of Tolles Development who owns and operates the Village at Rancharrah. In addition to special offers made available, Wolf Pack fans will have the chance to take photos with the Nevada mascots and enter a raffle with numerous prizes to win.
