Fifteen current and former Nevada Wolf Pack student-athletes have applied for graduation at the University of Nevada this winter. Commencement ceremonies for the University will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Lawlor Events Center. A livestream of the ceremony will be available on YouTube.
The 15 student-athlete graduates earned degrees in a wide range of fields and achieved a number of academic and athletic honors. Among the group are 2024-25 Doc Martie Award winner Youssef Kadiri, the first Nevada Men's Tennis player to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships in fall 2024, two-time 2025 All-Mountain West honoree Abby Parks of Women's Swimming and Diving, and two of Nevada Football's top defenders in 2025 in linebacker Stone Combs (74 tackles, 5.0 tackles-for-loss) and defensive lineman Nelson Ropati (23 tackles, 2.0 sacks, 4.0 TFLs).
Nevada student-athletes have continued to raise the bar academically year-to-year. While final GPAs for the Fall 2025 semester will be official after Commencement, Wolf Pack student-athletes have posted higher and higher GPAs the past three semesters, going from 3.147 in Spring 2024 to 3.183 in Fall 2024 before eclipsing that mark with a 3.278 last spring.
