With the 2022-23 Football Season quickly approaching, Nevada Athletics is proud to welcome brand new turf at Mackay Stadium thanks to a generous gift from longtime Wolf Pack supporter, ITS Logistics.

The new Chris Ault Field Sponsored by ITS Logistics will be unveiled on Aug. 24, just ahead of the Pack’s first game under 27th Head Coach Ken Wilson on Saturday, Aug. 27 at New Mexico State and the team’s 2022 home opener against Texas State on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 2:30 p.m.

Thanks to a generous pledge of $1.3 million from ITS Logistics, Nevada Athletics was able to replace the turf at Mackay Stadium. The removal process began in late June and in mid-August the installation of the new turf was complete and ready for team practice.

A leader in third-party logistics since 1999, ITS Logistics first began its partnership with Wolf Pack Athletics by providing transportation in 2002 and since 2005, has generously supported numerous funds benefiting Football, Women’s Golf, Men’s Baseball, Men’s Basketball and nutrition for student-athletes. Additionally, ITS Logistics has grown its partnership with The College of Business over the last four years — aiding The College of Business Alumni Association, The College of Business Corporate Partners Program and the establishment of The College of Business’s new Logistics Program.

“From the beginning, a love for the Pack has been in ITS Logistics DNA,” said Mike Crawford ’99 (physical education), COO of ITS Logistics and former Wolf Pack Football player from 1993-96. “So many of our employees, myself included, are Nevada alumni and the University and Wolf Pack Athletics hold a special place in our hearts. We’ve been honored to support the University for 20 years, and are proud to have our commitment to the institution’s future recognized at Chris Ault Field Sponsored by ITS Logistics.”

“A key part of recruiting top coaching and student-athlete talent is providing state-of-the-art facilities needed for player and team development both in practice and on game day,” said Wolf Pack Football Head Coach Ken Wilson. “Thanks to the continued philanthropy of ITS Logistics, Mackay Stadium is now home to brand new turf that not only allows us to perform our best on game day but also serves as a constant reminder of the entire Wolf Pack Family’s love and dedication to Nevada Athletics.”
