University Libraries at the University of Nevada, Reno announces the completion of the Mackay Theses project. More than 700 research theses are now available for free to the public, researchers, students, industry professionals and government entities.

The Mackay Theses Collection offers geologic, hydrological, geothermal, mining and metallurgical information. The dissertations and theses include narrative, figures, data, plates, maps and hand-drawn and colored cross sections, photographs, images, micrographs, seismic sections, and other figures. The theses and dissertations digitized for this project consist of print text, microfiche and microfilm and are dated from 1908-1993. They are currently housed in the DeLaMare Science and Engineering Library and University of Nevada, Reno Special Collections.
