The University of Nevada rifle team downed Air Force 4,528 to 4,527 at home in its season finale.
Nevada shot a 2,279 in small bore and 2,249 in air rifle. Air Force was close behind with a 2,231 finish in small bore and 2,296 in air rifle.
Freshman Martha Eisenhour shot a personal best and led the Wolf Pack with a 572 in air rifle. Freshman Kristi McGinley was a close second with a 566, which was also her personal best.
Junior Meghann Morrill and sophomore Andrew Hickey each shot a 571 in small bore to lead the Pack. Junior Lee Lemenager and freshman Heather Horn also shot well in the air rifle competition with scores of 568 and 569.
