Wear Wolf Pack blue at work and show team spirit during the Western Athletic Conference men's and women's basketball tournaments, beginning Wednesday, March 7 with the women's quarterfinals. The games will be held at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, N.M.
If the Nevada women win their opening game, they will play in the semifinals on Friday, March 9, for the opportunity to compete in the championship game Saturday, March 10.
The Wolf Pack men go into the tournament as the first seed on Thursday, March 8, after capturing their fourth consecutive WAC regular-season title. If they win the tournament opener, the Pack will play again in the Friday, March 9 semifinals. With a second win, Nevada will compete in the Saturday, March 10 tournament championship.
A WAC tournament championship would automatically qualify either the Wolf Pack men's or women's team for the national collegiate basketball tournament, which begins the week of March 11.
